UZIN has innovated a number of products for floor installations with exceptionally low VOC’s and is the first to introduce a solvent-free neoprene contact adhesive, UZIN WK 222.
Due to the growing demand within the flooring industry there is a need for eco-friendly products which help reduce health risks and cut down emissions, particularly in sensitive environments such as hospitals and schools. UZIN WK 222 has been awarded an EMICODE EC1® accolade for being solvent-free, very low emission and guarantees excellent indoor air quality.
Although solvent-free, UZIN WK 222 is a powerful contact adhesive with a short open time and is ready for immediate load-bearing. As a neoprene based adhesive UZIN WK 222 provides exceptional performance and can be applied in the same method as traditional solvent based products. It can be used for profiles and skirting as well as all common types of floor covering on absorbent and non-absorbent substrates. UZIN WK 222 also has superb rolling and brushing properties as well as a long contact bonding time and can be applied one day in advance if required.
